Are you living in a constant state of emptiness, unable to describe your feelings, feel there is nothing to look forward to, don’t feel well, but know you’re not sick? if you answer yes, this quick screen may provide some insights for moving forward.

Many are struggling emotionally and languishing (e.g., feeling blah) during unprecedented uncertainty driven by a pandemic, global warming, civil unrest, war, economic turmoil, and work and home challenges. Languishing is not a mental illness; it’s an unpleasant emotional state that hangs around like a low-pressure weather system, holding a person back from finding joy and seeing opportunity.

Use this quick screen to explore what anchors may be contributing to your languishing feelings.

·        Fear – some fear is stopping you from acting

·        Social connections gaps – some feelings of being socially disconnected, perhaps isolated, and lonely in one or more areas of your life

·       Regret – feel stuck in the past or struggling with some inaction

This is not a clinical measure nor a diagnostic tool; it is meant only to be a screening tool.
